Fire Hydrant Flushing Thursday May 2nd: Shrub Oak (Partial)

The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today on the following streets:

Glen Rd., Frost Rd., James St., Buckhorn St., Union St., Old Yorktown Rd., East Main St., Barger St., Oriole Ct., Fawn Ct., Spillway Rd., Sunnyside St., Dempster Rd., Meadow La., New Rd., Fen Pl.

Your water may be discolored during the hydrant flushing. Try to avoid doing laundry during this period. Upon completion, please flush your cold water line until clear should you experience discolored water.
