NWJWW's Amawalk Filter Treatment Plant Offline

The Northern Westchester Joint Water Works operates the two water treatment plants that provide water to the Yorktown Water District. 

The NWJWW has taken the Amawalk Reservoir Filter Treatment Plant offline for necessary repairs and/or improvements. The duration of the shutdown has not been determined.

All YWD customers are receiving their potable water from the NWJWW's Catskill Aqueduct Filter Treatment Plant.
