Town Board will separate the Comprehensive Plan from zoning changes
Goal is to adopt Plan on June 1st
Remaining steps
a) formally adopt FSGEIS as complete
b) hold public hearing on FSGEIS – not required but Board wants to afford maximum public involvement
c) hold forum on proposed SEQRA findings – not required but Board again seeks maximum public input
d) adopt SEQRA Findings Statement
e) adopt Comprehensive Plan
Specific steps leading to adoption:

Town Board accepts preliminary FSGEIS as complete and sets public hearing for Apr 6 on the revised Plan, preliminary FSGEIS and associated zoning changes. Copies of FSGEIS made available to public and online 30 day public comment period begins |
Apr 6 |
Public hearing on revised Plan, preliminary FSGEIS, and Proposed Action. Close hearing and leave comment period open for the submission of written comments, until April 21 |

Staff, lawyers and planners draft SEQRA Findings Statement. |
May 4 |
Town Board receives draft SEQRA Findings Statement and notices for May 18th forum* on SEQRA Findings Statement |

Town Board holds forum* on the SEQRA Findings Statement |

Staff, lawyers and planners revise draft SEQRA Findings Statement, as necessary |
