The New Yorktown Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit corporation with the mission to advance the economic development of the town of Yorktown's five business hamlets: Crompond, Jefferson Valley, Mohegan Lake, Shrub Oak and Yorktown Heights. The chamber has been serving commercial interests in the town since its founding in January 1994. Membership includes more than 350 small and mid-sized businesses, professional firms and individuals.
The Chamber addresses a broad range of public affairs, area development, economic and business development and small business issues impacting Yorktown businesses. The Chamber also provides programs, information and services to meet the needs of its members. These range from health insurance coverage and other discount programs to a variety of business networking functions. The Chamber also publishes the Presenting Historic Yorktown magazine and the Bonus Exchange book containing member listings.
