	Community Day & Taste of Yorktown This year's annual fair on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, is being run by the Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK) and will feature many family-oriented activities and showcase the local businesses and non-profits of Yorktown. 	Spring Fest Battle of the Bands Yorktown Parks & Recreation Spring Fest will be on Friday, May 18th from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.  Live performances by local bands from area high schools will light up the evening in front of the John “Jack” DeVito Gazebo. Bands will battle for Top Dog and great prizes. There will be food and live music throughout the evening. Come support your favorite band during this outdoor event. Read More
