Memoir Writing Workshop

Saturday, March 14, 2015 - 11:00am

With the authors of Still Here Thinking of You: A Second Chance With Our Mothers - Bring a brown bag lunch, paper and pen or pencil!

We will give a short introduction about how our writing group began, how we started writing about our mothers, and how we decided to gather our memoirs into a book.
We will each read an excerpt from our section of the book.
The readings will be followed by a Q&A/discussion.
Participants will then write their own memories. The amount of writing time will depend on the length of the program.
Participants will read their writings aloud and get feedback from the two writers and others in attendance.

Their book will be available for sale at the workshop.
