Yorktown Opens Town's Cooling Center

YORKTOWN OPENS TOWN'S COOLING CENTER

Yorktown Town Supervisor Michael Grace has opened the Yorktown Community
and Cultural Center located at 1974 Commerce Street Yorktown Heights for
residents as a COOLING CENTER.
 

The Cooling Center is a place that residents can stay if their home is uncomfortable
because of the unseasonable high temperature and high humidity. Residents are
permitted to bring non-perishable items and are reminded to bring with them any
necessary medications. No pets are allowed at the Cooling Center.
 

The Cooling Center will remain open until 10:00PM this evening (6/20112).
