Minimize environmental impacts.  Wash your car at a car was where the water gets treated and recycled.  If you wash your car at home, wash with a biodegradable soap parked on gravel or grass, where water is filtered naturally.  Avoid washing cars where dirt and oil can wash into the street and storm drain.
