Westchester County has expanded its curbside recycling program. Beginning June 1, 2011, all plastic containers coded #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 or #7, which held food, beverages or soapy cleaners will be recycled. Be sure to rinse all coded plastic containers and included them in your recycling bin along with glass jars & bottles, metal food & beverage cans, clean aluminum foil & trays, plus empty aerosol cans. No plastc bags!
