Storm Debris Pick-up

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

If the pre-Halloween snow storm left fallen branches on your property, the Town of Yorktown will collect per the following regulations:

1. Branches must be cut to a maximum of 4’ in length, bundled & tied with strong cord.
2. Once at curbside, call the Environmental Conservation Department (914) 245-4438 to be included on the free collection list.
3. Please note that the Town will not collect logs (branches with diameter 5” or more).
4. Yorktown residents can also dispose of their branches and logs by bringing them down to the Organic Yard Waste Facility, 2200 Greenwood Street, just off Route 35; Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. Note: bring your Yorktown I.D.
5. Commercial vehicles cannot access the facility without annual permit. Call the Environmental Conservation Department for permit information.
