The Town of Yorktown provides services for seniors at the Yorktown Community & Cultural Center. Services include: a nutrition center, meals on wheels, and a senior room where senior clubs and activities are held.
Services
Nutrition Program:
Hot lunch served Monday to Friday at 12 noon at the center. Reservations are required at least one day in advance by 1 pm.*
Home Meals:
A hot meal is delivered to eligible homebound seniors Monday to Friday. Call the nutrition center for more information.*
Grocery Shopping:
Tuesday and Thursday to local supermarkets. Transportation is provided.*
Wellness Programs:

Blood pressure screening weekly.

Sugar screening 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Flu shots every October.

Emergency Medical Door Bags available at Center.
Medical Transportation:
To medical providers in Yorktown. Requires reservation at least one week in advance.
*There is a suggested contribution for these services.
