A five member board appointed by the Town Board to three year terms.

The Utilities Oversight Committee was created by the Town Board on October 16, 2007 to assist the Town with monitoring, reviewing and addressing the environmental impacts of utilities on the Town of Yorktown.  The committee addresses security issues regarding utilities, trespassing on utility right-of-ways and quality of life impacts, investigates environmental impacts, issues which pertain to such things as wetlands and wetland buffers, flooding, erosion, tree removal and trimming, placement of fill, clearing of vegetation, disturbances to steep slopes, herbicide applications, security, construction and excavations, and the committee will ask questions and conduct reviews, issue comments, review mitigation needs and make related recommendations.  The committee reports directly to the Town Board of the Town of Yorktown.
