Application to construct a 151,092 SF Costco Wholesale Club retail store and club member available filling station located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Route 202 & the Taconic State Parkway.
The Planning Board adopted the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) Final Scope on December 13, 2010. The Board received the first draft of the DEIS from the applicant on November 28, 2011 and are reviewing it to determine whether to accept the draft EIS as adequate with respect to its scope and content for the purpose of commencing public review. The Planning Board accepted the DEIS as complete on September 10, 2012. A Public Hearing on the DEIS and Site Plan was opened at the Planning Board's October 15, 2012 meeting and closed at the November 19th meeting. The Planning Board left the written comment period open for 30 days, which is December 19, 2012. Written comments must be received in the Planning Department by Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
