Costco Revised FEIS
A Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS), as modified by the Planning Board’s revisions (the “Revised FEIS”), for the Costco Wholesale Store and Member Only Fueling Facility in the Town of Yorktown, Westchester County, New York has been completed and accepted by the Town of Yorktown Planning Board, as Lead Agency. The Revised FEIS provides responses to substantive and relevant comments on the Draft EIS.
Pursuant to SEQR, prior to the lead agency's decision on an action that has been the subject of a FEIS, it shall afford agencies and the public a reasonable time period (not less than 10 calendar days) in which to consider the FEIS before issuing its written findings statement. In addition, the lead agency's filing of a written findings statement must be made within 30 calendar days after the filing of the FEIS. The Revised FEIS was filed on October 21, 2014.
