WORK SESSION
Supervisor Linda G. Cooper called the meeting to order. Deputy Town Clerk Diana L. Quast and Town Attorney Kevin Sweeny were also present.
OLD STONE CHURCH
The Board reviewed the draft decision for the Old Stone Church regarding the landmarking and recent input regarding eligibility for State and National Registers. After a brief discussion, the Board decided to postpone this issue until the owner is able to attend the work session
GLOBAL CROSSING
SPRINT CELL TOWERS
Deputy Town Attorney John Buckley discussed with the Board the cell tower lease expansion possibilities.
TACONIC FUEL SPECIAL USE PERMIT
ROUTE 202
The Board reviewed a request for new signage for his gas station located on Route 202. The Board needs a site plan for this special use permit and asked that the applicant provide them to the Town Clerk to refer out.
UNSAFE BUILDING REPAIR/DEMOLITION
SANCTUARY GOLF COURSE
The Board reviewed Code Enforcement Officer Joe Hughs request to remove an unsafe building located at the Sanctuary Golf Course. The structure is known as the Locke Ledge Mansion which is in disrepair. The Board received a letter from the owner stating that he is in the process of renovating the building and would like three months in order to start construction and show improvements to the premises. The Board agreed to follow up on the progress of the building and make sure that improvements are being made.
SMP BUILDERS WETLAND PERMIT
DALE STREET/ MOHEGAN LAKE
The Board reviewed a request from Lou Panny to build a house in a wetland buffer. The Board urged the applicant to reconsider buying this property as laws restrict the building of homes in wetlands buffer areas.
MANA WETLANDS PERMIT
2530 GREGORY STREET
The Board reviewed Edward Mana’s updated application and agreed to advertise for a public hearing on July 5, 2006.
BIODIVERSITY IMA
The Board reviewed an intermunicipal agreement with the Town’s of Cortlandt, New Castle and Putnam Valley. The Board decided to amend the agreement and add a section to provide for additional biotic studies throughout the town. This issue will be placed on a future work session for further discussion.
CONSERVATION EASEMENTS
The Board discussed conservation easements for properties on Illington Road, East Main Street and Wenonah Trail. This issue will be placed on a future work session for further discussion.
TOWN BOARD MEETING AGENDA
The Board discussed the June 20, 2006 Town Board meeting agenda.

Upon motion by Councilman Campisi, seconded by Councilman Metz and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
