Authorize Supervisor to sign agreement for Title 111B Transportation for 2014 RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign an agreement for Title 111B Transportation for the program 2014 in the amount of $10,113 with a local match of $7,028.Request from Parks and Recreation Department:
Authorize Supervisor to Sign a contract with Environmental Maintenance Contractors, Inc., to perform soil testing at Hunterbrook Field. BE IT RESOLVED, the Parks and Recreation Superintendent is authorized to contract with Environmental Maintenance Contractors, Inc. to perform soil testing for a proposed multi-use field at Hunterbrook Field located on Mill Pond Road in the amount of $11,825.00 to be paid out of the Parks and Recreation Trust Account.Request from the Planning Department:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 195-35(A)(1), as a part of the Planning Board’s subdivision approval the Board required 10% of the land within the subdivision to be donated to the Town of Yorktown for recreational purposes; andWHEREAS, Planning Board approval for the Arrowhead Subdivision, Resolution #07-23 dated October 15, 2007, and its amended approval for Phase I of the Arrowhead Subdivision, Resolution #11-26 dated October 17, 2011, both required the donation of the recreation parcel; and
WHEREAS, the parcel to be donated consists of 4.5 acres, also known as Section 48.13, Block 1, Lot 11.5 on the Town Tax Map, is located at the top of Turkey Mountain adjacent to the Town owned park preserve; and
WHEREAS, as this parcel is adjacent the Turkey Mountain Park Preserve and said preserve already had mapped trails traversing the parcel, it is in the best interest of the Town to include the parcel as parkland within the Turkey Mountain Park Preserve; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board finds that dedication of these parcels is in the public interest and is consistent with the Town’s policy with respect to the acquisition and preservation of parkland, be it
RESOLVED, the Town of Yorktown does hereby formally dedicate the following parcel as public parkland: Section 48.13, Block 1, Lot 11.5.

Authorize Supervisor to sign an agreement with Westlaw, a Thompson Reuters Business for a two-year subscription for legal research database accessRESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to sign an agreement with Westlaw, a Thomson Reuters business, located at Thomson Reuters, Attn: Val Hill, 610 Opperman Drive, Eagan, MN 55123, for a 2-year license/subscription agreement for legal research database access, commencing on June 1, 2014, at a cost of $1,037.25 for the first year with no more than a 3% increase, up to $1,068.37 for the second year commencing on June 1, 2015. In addition, the Town Board authorizes the Comptroller to pay Westlaw invoices for additional search fees charged for research performed by the Town Attorney in databases not included in the subscription plan, up to $500 from June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015, and $500.00 from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016.
Authorize the Supervisor to sign a contract with Sullivan Data management for professional drafting and project management services.
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to sign a contract with Sullivan Data Management to provide professional assessment, RFP drafting and project management services for a document imaging, storage and retrieval system, in three phases, as set forth in the proposal of Sullivan Data dated September 9, 2013, in the amount of $3,500 for Phase I services (assessment of General Code proposal), $5,500 for optional Phase II services (creation of RFP), and $4,600.00 for optional Phase III services (project management services during installation and implementation).
