Optical Scan Voting Machines

Optical Scan Voting Machine

BE READY TO VOTE on Primary Day and Election Day and learn how to use Westchester County’s new optical scan voting machines.

Voters in Westchester County will see new optical scan voting machines at their polling places beginning this September with the Primary Election and again at the November General Election and beyond. These machines will replace the mechanical lever machines, which will no longer be used in elections conducted by the Westchester County Board of Elections.

Your Town Clerk is working in partnership with the Board of Elections to ensure voters are comfortable voting on the new machines. At your local municipal offices you can actually see a demonstration and receive hands-on instruction. Please call the clerk’s office at (914) 962-5722 x209 to set up an appointment.
