Job Description:

The part-time Reference Librarian provides general reference and information services, readers’ advisory, develops and implements programs, participates in collection development and performs library advocacy. The Librarian provides assistance to patrons using the library in accessing library materials and technology performing other job-related duties as assigned. Up to 16 hours per week include evenings and weekends as required, schedule subject to change. Salary starting at $23.00

Qualifications:

ALA accredited Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies. Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle detail orientated work. Must have commitment to public service and the ability to work well with a diverse population, as well as knowledge and interest in children’s development, materials and programming.
