Stahmer Subdivision Lot #2

Application of P.W. Scott Engineering & Architecture, P.C. for approval of an amended site plan for Lot #2 of the Stahmer Subdivision and a special permit to install a large-scale solar system with submitted plans titled, “535 Jerome Road - Construction Site Plan,” prepared by P.W. Scott Engineering & Architecture, P.C., dated July 24, 2020, and last revised January 18, 2021.

The applicant has proposed to install a 25 kWh solar roof, where 20 kWh is allowed in a residential area by special permit from the Building Inspector. The site is located at the address 535 Jerome Road, also known as Section 59.10, Block 1, Lot 10.1 on the Town of Yorktown Tax Map. The parcels consist of 4.3 acres in the R1-80 zoning district.

The applicant is also proposing to obtain a special permit for a Professional Office Use from the Zoning Board of Appeals and a special permit for a Battery Energy Storage System in a residential zone from the Building Inspector.
