Storm Update from Supervisor Matt Slater & Highway Superintendent Dave Paganelli:

A snow emergency remains in effect for the Town of Yorktown. Residents are urged to stay off the roads to allow crews to continue cleanup efforts.

AAA Carting will NOT be picking up garbage or recycling today. Please do not put out garbage cans or recycling bins. Thursday pickups will be moved to Friday. Friday pickups will be moved to Saturday.

Town facilities are planning to open at noon. The Yorktown Police Department is available at 962-4141 and the Highway Department is available at 962-5781.

The Court continues to be available by telephone only and Judges available for emergencies.
