Fire Hydrant Flushing Tuesday 10/05/21

The Yorktown Water District will be flushing fire hydrants on the following streets today 10/05/21:

California Rd., Indiana Ave., Carolina Rd., Georgia St., Montana St., Rose Ct. Columbine Ct., Pinebrook Rd. & Ct., eastern Close, Troutbrook Rd., Heather Ct. Sunflower Ct., Chestnut Ct., Old Country Way, Carter's Grove, Croton Heights Rd., Revere Dr. Pickens Ct., Ethan Ct. Rutledge Dr. Mc Keel St., White Horse Rd., Spring Dr., Sagunka Rd., Sunset St., Bourie La., Pheasant Rd., Lark Dr., Hillcrest St., Cliff Rd. & Col. Greene Rd.

Please be advised that flushing may cause some discoloration of water. This does not represent a health hazard. However, customers are cautioned to determine if the water is clear before washing clothes (or any other processing) as staining may occur. If you experience discolored water run the cold water in all your faucets until it clears. Thank you for your cooperation.
