CATSKILL AQUEDUCT TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN

The NYC DEP is scheduled to make repairs to the Catskill Aqueduct.  In conjunction with this the Northern Westchester Joint Water Works (NWJWW) will not be pumping water to the Yorktown Water District (YWD) from its Catskill filter treatment plant.  NWJWW's Amawalk filter treatment plant will be the sole source of  the YWD's drinking water for the next several weeks. Some residents may experience a slight change in the water. For any questions or concerns please contact the YWD at 914-245-6111.
