Yorktown Parks & Recreation Programs Creating Community Through People, Parks, and Programs The Parks & Rec department has many programs available each season for kids of all ages including playgroups, art and science classes, and youth sports to swimming lessons and camps in the summer.  For more information on programs and to browse the current activities brochure go to: www.yorktownny.org/parksandrecreation.   Yorktown Skate Board Park The Patriot Skate Park is located behind the Town Hall Commuter Lot on Underhill Avenue in Yorktown Heights. This facility is not supervised. For additional information, please go to the Skate Park Page on the Parks & Rec Dept webpage. Please note: Click on link for hours as the Park will be closed for Yorktown's Skateboard Camp. PLEASE RIDE SAFELY AND HAVE FUN!     Shrub Oak Athletic Club The Shrub Oak Athletic Club is a youth sports organization serving Northern Westchester and Southern Putnam Counties, NY. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to bringing the children the best sports activities possible. Our in-house programs focus on the value of teamwork, learning the game, sportsmanship and just having fun. Join us for baseball, travel baseball, senior baseball, softball, soccer, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, football cheerleading, field hockey! www.shruboakac.org   Yorktown Youth Soccer Club The YYSC is a non-profit organization that has approximately 1,200 registered boys and girls offering 2 recreational programs: bantam (ages 4-8) and in-house (ages 8-14) as well as East Hudson Youth Soccer League competitive travel teams (ages 8-19). YYSC is affiliated with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, U.S. Youth Soccer Association and the United States Soccer Federation and are participants in the Olympic Developmental Program ("ODP"). www.yorktownsoccer.org   Yorktown Teen Center The Yorktown Teen Center mission is to provide safe, positive, enriching, fun, supervised programs for teens.  www.yorktowntc.org The Center is located in the Yorktown Community and Cultural Center- Room 102 at 1974 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights.  Contact us at: (914) 245-0275. Summers: Thursdays-Fridays 6-10 pm   Yorktown Leos Club The Yorktown Leos is a community service club for people ages 12-30 who are willing to help others.  Leo Club meets regularly, two Sundays a month during the school year at Club Fit in Jefferson Valley, NY from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you live in or around Lakeland/Yorktown, you’re more than welcome to join us. www.yorktownleos.org   Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corp Youth Group The Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Youth Group serves as an auxiliary to the Corps. These 14-18 year old students are trained in CPR, First Aid, with some as New York State Certified First Responders.
