    The Senior Newsletter is a bimonthly publication of the Parks & Recreation Department.  The newsletter includes informative articles of interest to seniors as well as a summary of available senior clubs, activities, and the monthly calendar of Yorktown Nutrition Center activities.

    The Patriot Skate Park is located behind the Town Hall Commuter Lot on Underhill Avenue in Yorktown Heights. This facility is not supervised.  For additional information, please click on the link.  Please click on link for hours the Park will be closed for Yorktown's Skateboard Camp.  Read the New Skate Board Law here >

  • Recreation Commission

    The Yorktown Recreation Commission was created in 1969.  The Commission is a policy making group and is basically autonomous except for fiscal policy which remains in the hands of the Town Board. The Commission directly supervises the Superintendent of Parks & Recreation.

The Department also strives to develop and maintain a diversified park system that will appeal to all outdoor interests.
