    YORKTOWN PARKS & RECREATION PROVIDES TRAINING CLASSES FOR LIFEGUARDING.  LIFEGUARDING OFFERS GREAT PAY FOR SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT AND HELPS PROVIDE SAFETY TRAINING AND AWARENESS SKILLS THAT CAN BE USED FOR LIFE. 

  • Summer Concerts at the Gazebo

    This summer the Yorktown Lion's Club and the Yorktown Parks & Rec Dept will host the Audi Mohegan Lake 20th Annual Summer Concert Series at the John "Jack" DeVito Gazebo on Veterans Road. All concerts are free and open to the public. Join us Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 PM for great music this summer! Rain location is in the Yorktown Stage.

  • Senior Newsletter

    The Senior Newsletter is a bimonthly publication of the Parks & Recreation Department.  The newsletter includes informative articles of interest to seniors as well as a summary of available senior clubs, activities, and the monthly calendar of Yorktown Nutrition Center activities.

  • Recreation Commission

    The Yorktown Recreation Commission was created in 1969.  The Commission is a policy making group and is basically autonomous except for fiscal policy which remains in the hands of the Town Board. The Commission directly supervises the Superintendent of Parks & Recreation.
