On Saturday, June 2nd from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm the Yorktown Grange Tractor Club hosts its annual Car Show.  Open to all Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles & Antique Machines. Food, Prizes, & Awards and Hayrides! Spectators are $2/car.

    Hydrant Flushing April 16 - May 25, 2012

    YORKTOWN HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
    The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants in parts of Sections 1, 2 and 4 from April 16, 2012 - May 25, 2012 between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.  If you do not know what section you are in, look it up by street here: Find My Section.

    Taconic State Parkway Construction Alternate Routes

    Due to the construction project to rehabilitate the Taconic over the New Croton Reservoir (AMVET Bridge), there will likely be extensive rush our delays.  Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes during the 8 1/2 month construction project.  Visit the Yorktown Police Department website for a list of Alternate Routes>

    Yorktown Heating Oil Plan

    All residents of Yorktown are eligible. Once in the plan, members are guaranteed a reduced rate for heating oil when they purchase it from participating companies. The only cost is a $5 enrollment fee, which is required at the time a resident signs up. Residents can sign up anytime during regular business hours in the Supervisor’s office.
