Westchester County Household Recycling Day

Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities will hold its first Household Recycling Day of the year at FDR Park on Saturday, April 20th from 9 AM - 3 PM.

Residents are asked to place all items in the trunk or backseat and to stay in their vehicle at all times while in the drop-off area.

The Mobile Shredder will be on site as well. Bring your documents for secure shredding.

If you are unable to attend the HRD Event, you can still dispose of your hard-to-get-rid-of household waste by making a convenient appointment for the County’s Household-Material Recycling Facility (H-MRF), 15 Woods Road, Valhalla. The H-MRF is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm by appointment, and accepts the same items that are accepted at the HRD events.
