Milling & Paving of Quinlan Street to Start this Week

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project of milling and paving Quinlan Street is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 16th.

The Milling aspect of the roadwork will take place July 16 - July 19. The new paving will be done July 22 - July 26.

The road should never be completely closed as one lane will be left open and flaggers will alternate traffic. Please expect short delays.

During this two week project, please be certain that vehicles are not parked on the roadway. Also trash cans, recylcing bins and Bulk Trash are not to be on the roadway. The collection crews will do their best to pick up your trash and recyclables; however if the roadway is blocked by the contractor, or fresh pavement needs to be cured, collections may be delayed.

If you have questions or concerns about this paving project, please call Yorktown Heighway Department (914) 962-5781. If you have any questions about the Kitchen Refuse, Recycling, or Bulk Trash, please call the Refuse and Recylcing Department (914) 245-4438.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.

Thank you,

Dave Paganelli, Highway Superintendent
Kim Angliss-Gage, Recycling Coordinator
