Daylight Savings Time Ends this Weekend

Don't forget to "Fall Back" this weekend as daylight savings time ends Sunday, November 3rd at 2 am.

This is also a good time to change the batteries in all of your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Smoke detectors are your first alert to a fire in your home and properly working smoke detectors save lives.  For more information about fire safety and smoke alarms visit: www.nfpa.org/safety-information/for-consumers/fire-and-safety-equipment/smoke-alarms

As you prepare to set your clocks back one hour, remember to change the batteries in your CO detector. If you don't have a battery-powered or battery back-up CO alarm, now is a great time to buy one. More than 500 people die each year in the US from unintentional, non-fire related CO poisoning.  For more information about CO Detectors visit: www.cdc.gov/Features/TimeChangeCODetectors
