Fieldhome's Expansion Plans Are On Schedule

Cortlandt Manor, NY, JAN. 21, 2014 — In a letter posted last week on FIELDHOME’s website John R. Ahearn, CEO, provided an update on the expansion plans for FIELDHOME.  The following is an excerpt from the letter:

As a result of a grant from New York State Department of Health, Fieldhome is opening a social model Adult Day Care Center at Field Home - Holy Comforter.  The facility will provide nutritional, social and daily living services for the elderly in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment. ... The new facility is scheduled to open early this year and will provide another valuable service to the community.

In addition, we received grant funding to provide for a state of the art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, which we are in the process of implementing.  The EMR system will enhance the quality of our residents’ medical records and the care we provide.

The Marketing Center for our independent living complex, Stone Ridge at Fieldhome, opened this past year and visitors can now preview site, apartment and floor plans, a model kitchen, and a scale model of the entire senior living development.

If all goes well, our expansion plans will become a reality late this year when we hope to begin construction.
