PUBLIC HEARING
Wetland/Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan/Tree Permit application for Granite Knolls Sports and Recreation Complex – Town of Yorktown
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be convened by the Town Board, Town of Yorktown, Westchester County, New York at the Town Hall, Town of Yorktown, 363 Underhill Avenue, Yorktown Heights, New York on the 11th day of July, 2017 at 7:30 o'clock PM, or as soon thereafter as the same can be heard to consider the Wetland/Stormwater Pollution Prevention/Tree Permit Application by the Town of Yorktown at property located at Granite Knolls, Stony Street, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598, also known as Section 26.09, Block 1, Lot 22 on the Tax Map of the Town of Yorktown. The Town of Yorktown proposes to construct a recreational complex consisting of two full-size, multi-purpose fields, a baseball field with press box and bleachers, a putting green, basketball courts, snack bar, restrooms, parking facilities and associated utilities on the westerly side of Stony Street on approximately a fifteen-acre section of Town-owned land known as Granite Knolls.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Request from American Red Cross to waive fees of a total of $367.50 for use of YCCC gym during the Chamber of Commerce Street Fair for blood drive.

RESOLUTIONS (to be passed TONIGHT, TUESDAY, July 11, 2017)

Finance:
Request from Town Comptroller for authorization to transfer $1,400,000 from the General Fund - Fund Balance to D5112.210 Highway Paving

Legal:

  • RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign an Agreement with Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services for Wellness in NutritionWIN in the amount of $9,357, with an estimate of an additional $3,072 (NSIP) Nutrition Services Incentive Program. This is for the period April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018.
  • RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign an Agreement with Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services for AAA Transportations Services in the amount of $3,222. This is for the period April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018.

  • Be it resolved, that Maria Fama is hereby appointed as a member of the Senior Advisory Board.
     
  • Be it resolved, that Daryl Lindholm is hereby appointed as a member of the Senior Advisory Board.
     
  • Be it resolved, that Barbara Leifels is hereby appointed as an alternate member of the Senior Advisory Board.

Water Department:
Request from Water Distribution Superintendent for authorization to advertise for competitive bid for water maintenance materials.
