Fire Hydrant Flushing Today - Mohegan Lake, East Side Area

The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today on the following streets:

Mohegan Ave., Lake Shore Dr., Christine St., Tamarac St., Hollywood St., Lookout St., Baker St., Inspiration Rd., Chelsey Rd., Nabby Hill Rd., Rocky Pl., Florida Rd., Midget Ln., Florida Rd., Fenimore Ave., Heyward St., Kimble Ave., Lakeside Dr., Hillside St., Sagamore Ave., Crossways Rd., Cooper St., Delaware Rd., Hiawatha Rd., Mohawk Rd., Narraganset Rd., & Seneca Rd. 

Your water may be discolored during the hydrant flushing. Try to avoid doing laundry during this period. Upon completion, please flush your cold water line until clear should you experience discolored water.
