Fire Hydrant Flushing Today: Stoney St. to Judy Rd. Area

The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today on the following streets:  Stoney St., Deer St., Deer Track Ct., Winding Ct., Quarry Dr., Granite Knolls Ballfield, Shrub Oak Academy, Amelia Dr., South Shelley St., Judy Rd., & Lydia Ct.

Your water may be discolored during the hydrant flushing. Try to avoid doing laundry during this period. Upon completion, please flush your cold water line until clear should you experience discolored water.
