FLUORIDE FEED INTO THE TOWN'S DRINKING WATER

Northern Westchester Joint Water Works Amawalk Water Treatment Facility Fluoride Feed into the Town’s Drinking Water On June 6, 2013, the Northern Westchester Joint Water Works will be re-introducing fluoride into the drinking water at the Amawalk Treatment Facility. This feed system has been off since mid January 2013. This process may be interrupted again in the future if this treatment plant is taken off line due to mechanical failures, NYC shutdown, or any weather related event. We will keep the public informed of any such interruptions. This notice only affects residents of the Town of Yorktown and Somers.
