The Yorktown Consolidated Water District conducts its semi-annual hydrant flushing normally during the months of April/May and September/October. Further details (time and location) will be posted on this website and the local government channel up to one week prior to when the flushing will commence. Notice may also be published in the Yorktown Pennysaver (formerly North County News) and the Yorktown Examiner up to one week prior to flushing.
Please be aware that no obstruction (including plantings, shrubs, etc.) shall be placed within a 10' radius of any fire hydrant (as per the Town Code).
