Yorktown Mourns the Loss of Employee Charlie Vilarino

On September 24, 2021 the Town of Yorktown suffered an incredible loss. It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we mourn the Loss of Charlie Vilarino, Lead Mechanic with Yorktown Highway Department.

Charlie was an invaluable asset and major driving force insuring all Highway equipment would be available when necessary to guarantee the safety of our residents and Yorktown workforce. Charlie was an extremely knowledgeable mechanic and excellent manager.

All who had the pleasure of knowing Charlie would say he was in all aspects a truly great human being. Charlie will be sorely missed by all.

Charlie’s greatest legacy is his Family.

Charlie’s extended family at the Yorktown Highway Department offers our thoughts and prayers to the entire Vilarino family.
