Veteran's Commemorative Park

A Veteran is anyone who has served in the American Military and has an honorable discharge.

Purchase a commemorative engraved brick for in the park for your Veteran as a wonderful way to honor the military service of those you love, be they living or deceased.

American Legion Post #1009 has committed itself to raising funds to provide support and services to these brave survivors and their families.  to help us accomplish this we have designed the recently dedicated Veteran's Commemorative Park which contains memorials, flagstaff, a decorative wall with military branch emblems, and engraved bricks to remember all Veterans.  

Funds raised will be used primarily as donations to:

• The Wounded Warriors

• Montrose VA Residents

• Comfort Warriors

• Yorktown Community Programs

• The Fisher Houses - (Veterans' Families Support)
