Shrub Oak International School

The applicant has proposed to reuse the former Phoenix House Academy as a private boarding school for autistic children. The property consists of 127.24 acres in the R1-160 zoning district located on the west side of Stony Street at 3151 Stony Street, Mohegan Lake in the Town of Yorktown and is identified on the Town Tax Map as Section 26.05, Block 1, Lot 4. The school will also purchase approximately 12 acres of property owned by the Phoenix House Foundation on the east side of Stony Street, however no development is proposed on this lot.
